Plans to assassinate JFK

Plans to assassinate JFK

The only documented plans to kill JFK we are aware of come from the Radical Right - in this case one of General Walker's followers in the John Birch Society.

Kill JFK meetings

Kill JFK meetings

Loran Hall is one of several radical right activists who witnessed talk of killing JFK - usually just talk, but sometimes very serious. Because extremists like Hall were also passionately against Castro, they had contact with anti-Castro Cuban emigre groups who received some funding from the CIA. This distant connection to resources on the fringe of CIA efforts against Castro has caused too many to believe the CIA was involved in killing JFK instead of the true criminals, the radical right.

Herman Sheffield:advanced knowledge

Herman Sheffield:advanced knowledge

Talk of killing JFK was not uncommon in the John Birch Society and we don't believe garden variety racists like Herman Sheffield had anything to do with killing JFK. However, the killers of Kennedy were part of the John Birch Society, the Minutemen, the National States Rights Party and/or similar groups. Rumors and appeals for funding DID spread down to people like Sheffield.

WT Caley's Advance Knowledge

WT Caley's Advance Knowledge

W T Caley and Joseph Milteer (next document) are wealthy professional bigots who are asked to contribute to "worthy" causes like killing Kennedy...they don't know all the details but they know they put up money to make sure JFK didn't leave Dallas alive.

JFK will be shot

JFK will be shot

Georgia segregationist Joseph Milteer told an informant that Kennedy would be shot in Dallas. Milteer is linked to General Walker and assured his reactionary friends not to worry about Oswald because the patsy knows nothing of the true assassins.

The other interrogation on 22NOV63

The other interrogation on 22NOV63

John Thomas Masen, one of General Walker's disciples in the Dallas radical right owns one of two stores in Dallas where the ammunition for Oswald's rifle can be bought. His interrogation by the FBI and ATF ends slightly before JFK's arrival.

another warning?

another warning?

We know of at least 5 warnings about militant right wing extremists in the South planning something violent for JFK's visit to Dallas. According to former federal agent author Walt Thomas, the DPD was a subset of the John Birch Society and a handful of police extremists believed JFK a threat to the United States.

Secret Service: Gen Walker's threat

Secret Service: Gen Walker's threat

A couple weeks before the assassination, the Secret Service had information that General Walker was planning an unfriendly welcome. We believe Walker delivered the most unpleasant welcome to JFK possible; furthermore we believe Dallas Secret Service chief Forrest Sorrels protected his anti-Kennedy friends in Dallas.

KKK and States Rights Party

KKK and States Rights Party

The KKK, the John Birch Society, and the National States Rights Party had overlapping membership lists and it is among these men that the assassins of JFK are found.

Capt Fritz and Curry

Capt Fritz and Curry

For reasons unknown, DPD Chief Jesse Curry and Homicide Captain Fritz head to the Texas School Book Depository. Although Dealey Plaza as the site of Kennedy's murder was immediately obvious, the police had no recorded reason for heading to the TSBD during the initial alert....How do Capt. Fritz and Chief Curry instinctively know the TSBD is the center of the action? In later years, Curry will write a book and all but admit that there was more than one shooter in Dealey Plaza.

Ellsworth finds gun in TSBD

Several law enforcement officers will collect credit for finding Oswald's rifle.

DPD Brown sees a runner

DPD Brown sees a runner

Several honest DPD officers, like Earle Brown, aren't heard from until 15+ years after the assassination because what they saw is catastrophic for the official Oswald-as-the-only-shooter explanation. What Brown and other inconvenient honest cops saw wasn't known until 1978 because running men escaping on foot from the School Book Depository means the Warren Report is wrong. According to the Warren Report, Oswald calmly left by taxicab.

Decker: deer rifles everywhere

Decker: deer rifles everywhere

Legendary Dallas sheriff Bill Decker helped capture Bonnie and Clyde. Decker repeatedly hints that a violent reaction from well-armed Dallas was to be expected by JFK. We believe Decker produces much of the police coverup and especially ensures Lee Harvey Oswald doesn't live to tell his side of the story.

School Book Depository west side

School Book Depository west side

Witnesses including police officers Roger Craig and Earle Brown saw a young man (or men) escaping from the west side stairs and/or running from the loading dock of the Texas School Book Depository. Deputy Roger Craig and two others saw a man matching Oswald's description get into a station wagon rapidly leaving Dealey Plaza.

Roy Truly's thoughts

Roy Truly's thoughts

Texas School Book Depository boss Roy Truly offers his opinion on JFK visiting conservative Dallas. Many of the essential characters in Oswald's official story are right wing extremists.

Inspector Herbert Sawyer

Inspector Herbert Sawyer

Dallas Police Department Inspector Herbert Sawyer seen with a Coke and cigarette in Dealey Plaza. Sawyer testifies that the TSBD is not sealed off for at least 15 minutes. Although the DPD show a casual sloppiness all day, they remarkably catch "the assassin" Oswald right away.

Police signalling Oswald

Police signalling Oswald

One of the most provocative facts of the assassination is that the police stopped at Oswald's home and honked...before he was a suspect in any crime...before Oswald was officially known in any way by DPD. We believe a few Dallas police officers helped facilitate the assassination and most importantly produced the assassin they knew to be innocent.

Oswald leaving Dealey Plaza

Oswald leaving Dealey Plaza

Lee Harvey Oswald was seen by DPD officer Marrion Baker calmly having a Coke in a second floor lunchroom about 90 seconds after the assassination. He is shortly seen at his Beckley St rooming house. Shortly after 1pm DPD officer J D Tippit is killed. Oswald is arrested at about 1:50 in the Texas Theatre. His precise movements between 12:30 and 1:50 defy consensus.

How they found Oswald's address?

How they found Oswald's address?

This is Professor Jerry Rose writing in his journal, The Third Decade. The DPD officially had no knowledge of Oswald prior to 22NOV63 yet they show up at his address minutes after the assassination.

Several witnesses reported running men leaving the Texas School Book Depository moments after the assassination.

New Orleans DA Jim Garrison believed the ground crew on 22NOV63 included members of the Dallas Police Department.

Marrion Baker meets Oswald

Marrion Baker meets Oswald

Dallas motorcycle cop Marrion Baker singlehandedly devastates the official Lone Nut explanation of 22NOV63 by talking with Oswald calmly sipping a Coke on the 2nd floor of the TSBD just seconds after shots were fired.

Dealey

Dealey

The Dealey name is not only part of the assassination crime scene; Dealey is a prominent Dallas right wing figure who confronts JFK verbally and in print.

Photographic evidence in our FILMS section shows gunmen in the Dallas County Records Building. This 1970 schematic by Richard Sprague was created for congress. We added in the red line showing the firepower from the Records Building and other annotations related to the newly discovered full frame Bell film.

Roger Craig: 2 gunmen

Roger Craig: 2 gunmen

Dallas Sheriff's Deputy Roger Craig reports witnesses seeing two gunmen on the west side of the Texas School Book Depository. Since this contradicts the official DPD and Sheriff's Department story that the lone gunmen Oswald shot from the east side of the TSBD, Roger Craig is ostracized by Dallas law enforcement.

Howard Brennan is essential to DPD

Howard Brennan is essential to DPD

Dealey Plaza Witness Howard Brennan is essential in creating a slightly plausible explanation for how Oswald was captured so quickly. Brennan testifies to a shooter matching Oswald's description at point A and TSBD workers watching the motorcade at point B. Click on link below to see a video of Brennan.

Brennan & Sorrels

Brennan & Sorrels

Critical witness Howard Brennan is managed in Dealey Plaza by Secret Service boss Forest Sorrels. Brennan is ushered to the conveniently located Sheriff's office at Dealey Plaza and is often cited as the key witness who allows the DPD to look for a man with Oswald's description - although the desription put out by DPD radio is wrong and although the FBI confirmed Brennan never gave the police a description of Oswald.

He left wearing a dark jacket

He left wearing a dark jacket

Oswald's landlady Earlene Roberts saw him leave in a dark jacket. DPD will claim that one of the clues helping them find Oswald was his *white* jacket, diligently produced into Warren Commission evidence. Apart from the dark and light jacket question, Earlene Roberts presents a timeline problem for the official DPD narrative of the assassination. The DPD detectives under Captain Fritz arrive at Earlene's Beckley St rooming house before the DPD can possibly learn of its address.

Sorrels too early

Sorrels too early

All day on 22NOV63 Dallas Secret Service boss Forrest Sorrels is one step ahead of a naturally sequenced investigation. This is Sorrels trying to explain why he was already asking for a list of Texas School Book Depository employees before there was "any basis" to suspect TSBD staff.

Escape by station wagon

Escape by station wagon

Dallas Sheriff's Deputy Roger Craig is ostracized for insisting he saw Lee Harvey Oswald hurriedly escape from the TSBD in a station wagon - contrary to official DPD and Sheriff's department narratives which insist Oswald took a bus home. Deputy Craig will later identify Oswald in police custody as the man he saw escape into a station wagon.

Marion Meharg

Marion Meharg

Little known witness Marion Meharg confirms the story told by Sheriff's Deputy Roger Craig. A young man escaped quickly from the TSBD moments after the assassination via a station wagon.

Austin Miller

Austin Miller joins more than a dozen witnesses who see a puff of smoke or otherwise detect shots from the Grassy Knoll.

Staging the scene

Staging the scene

DPD Lt. Day is forced to admit that the 6th floor evidence was re-arranged prior to his official crime scene photographs. Unfortunately for the Dallas cops, numerous witnesses and photographs prove they were lying about what they discovered on the 6th floor of the Texas School Book Depository.

Oswald leaves his wedding ring

Oswald leaves his wedding ring

The evidence suggests Lee Harvey Oswald knew 22NOV63 would be a big day. He left his wedding ring at home for the first time that day. Somehow, the DPD knew exactly where to find Oswald after the assassination.

DPD has Oswald on Elsbeth

DPD has Oswald on Elsbeth

On the afternoon of the JFK assassination, DPD records indicate Lee Harvey Oswald's address on Elsbeth. Oswald lived on Beckley St and did not live on Elsbeth except briefly several months earlier. Why would the DPD have Oswald's earlier address if Oswald was unknown to the DPD as they claimed?

The man in the hat is Dallas Sheriff's deputy Buddy Walthers in Dealey Plaza on 22 November 1963. Note the time on the Hertz sign atop the Texas School Book Depository. See adjacent photo - Walthers will testify he finds nothing of interest during this close investigation of the grassy infield. Regular vehicular traffic is not at all interrupted despite physical and biological evidence all over the road.

Walker's inexplicable knowledge

Walker's inexplicable knowledge

Shortly after JFK is murdered, General Edwin Walker tells a German newspaper that he had earlier in the year also suffered an attack from Lee Harvey Oswald. The only people who knew Oswald's involvement were the Oswalds. Evidence emerged for the police and public only days later suggesting Oswald shot at Walker. How did Walker know Oswald was involved in the 10APR1963 attack on Walker before the police and before this was publicly known?

Fritz will not pin down rifle or shell time

Fritz will not pin down rifle or shell time

DPD Captain Fritz stays vague in all his timeframes and other details even though he is nominally the chief of the assassination investigation in Dallas. Captain Fritz refused to sign his original deposition because of the difficulty the DPD had in getting their story straight.

Conspirators huddle

Conspirators huddle

The murder of President Kennedy took place literally on the doorstep of Dallas County Sheriff Bill Decker's office. DPD Captain Fritz and Sheriff Bill Decker stage manage the official version of history from 22 November 1963 until Oswald's death in their hands on 24 November 1963.
